Lines, Lines, Lines and a Little Color
Kinders worked on different kinds of line; straight, curvy, zigzag, and wavy. Artists loved adding color when all was dry.
H is for Hats!
Kinders are going through the Alphabet letter by letter. What Letter could be better than an H! Artists listened to the story by Caldecott Award winner Jon Klassen "This is not my Hat". We then took time to look at different hats from different places. Artists where then able to make their own hats using skills of paper manipulation.

S is for Seahorse
Artist learned about seahorses and their habitats. Using simple lines they were able to create a Seahorse! By adding a background students were able to "show what they know".
